NME awards in 2010 when The Mighty Boosh won The Best DVD for the Future Sailors Tour. Noel wasn't there, so Julian does the majority of the talking. So a good selection for Julianuary.

So Buzzfeed did this article entitled "22 Times Noel Fielding Was The Most Weirdly Hilarious Man In Britain",  which the Tumblr fandom has known (and discussed ad naueam) for years. So there's that.

Someone I follow on Tumblr was lucky enough to be in the audience and they shared some highlights. It must have been amazingly funny. You can see that Noel is having a blast. One of the funniest things I've seen lately!

Throw Back Thursday

This is a bit of a lengthy interview with Noel and Julian  from 2009, close to the end of their 10+ years run. The interviewer mentions that they tended to talk over each other and end each other's sentences. I imagine there had been so many interviews with the same questions, it was almost an act for them. Noel has so much going on right now, I can't keep up! I haven't watched this yet, but I'm going to soon. (Not even sure what it is.) So, I have no comments to make. Just watch it--if you want! Oh, and Jack Whitehall is on it, so there's that.

(Note--so I didn't actually watch it. I tried, I really did. But I couldn't get into it. So he may have made some funny comments that I missed. --I may give it another try later-- But...at the 38:58 mark Noel comes out in a Cricket uniform, and looks rather dashing. So check that part out.)

In Tribute

Just heard of the passing of David Bowie, and am of course saddened. My musical tastes were very 60s and early 70s when I was in High School, so Bowie was naturally a part of my collection. He helped so many people by being a bit strange and androgynous and different. I thought "The Man That Fell To Earth" was deep, and he was the best part of Labyrinth.  He influenced more than one generation of young people, and he'll be remembered for that.

The Big Fat Quiz Of Everything

There is nothing to say. Noel and Richard together. Brilliant! It's a fabulous panel, across the board. Why can't we have TV like this in the USofA? That's what I want to know.

So Bad Dong becomes a thing in this episode of Big Fat Quiz, thanks to Richard Ayoade and Greg Davies. Okay, this is a bit long-- an hour and a half long, but it's a brilliant panel so do what I did, if your time is limited-- I watched it in half hour segments. Funny stuff, as always!
