I love this video! It really is one of my very favorite things. I mean, Noel is so serious but yet he's having such a good time. I love the way his voice is all Monty Flange, low and sexy. And his little laugh at 1:25 when Julian sings. Makes me melt, every time! Perfect for a Throw Back Thursday!

How have I missed this video of Noel and Julian jamming? (Okay, I've seen one that had just the music, but not the whole thing. I think. Or maybe my memory is just bad this morning.) Really, if I've ever seen it, I don't remember it. A little bit of Isolation, and then Noel turns into Old Gregg! Who doesn't love Love Games?

The Mighty Boosh - Nanageddon - Live @ Royal Albert Hall

Let's travel back a few years. I hadn't ever seen this one before. The picture quality isn't the best, but the sound isn't bad, or at least I think we get a good feel for the energy of the show. Noel and Dave singing, and then Julian with his guitar. I think I'm going to have to watch this a couple more times.

Noel Fielding's Soundtrack Of My Life

So The Tour starts today. How excited am I?! Sorry if you're tired of hearing about it, but I'll probably post every picture and video that shows up for the next two months. So, to start things off, here is a video of Noel talking with NME about music. It has nothing to do with the tour, at all, but he mentions Baker Street, which is one of my all-time favorite songs, even though I rarely admit it!

Another Interview

Another outstanding interview, this time published in The Scotsman. It's nice that in all of these interviews, when the subject of The Mighty Boosh and his existing relationship with Julian comes up (and it always does), that Noel stresses that they are still friends and spend time together. I think it will be really sad if they never perform or collaborate together again, simply because they seem to have such a great chemistry, but it would be sadder yet if they didn't like each other anymore. 

Happy Birthday, John

I've mentioned before that one of my first obsessions was The Beatles, and John was an obsession all on his own. I had this poster hanging on my bedroom wall (along with a whole host of others). He had this aura about him that was creative, both with his writing and with his art, that I maybe see in Noel. It's something I respect and admire. His death wasn't just a loose for his family, it was a loose for all of us.

The Mighty Boosh On The Culture Show.

Cleaning up some of my "archive" and I found this hidden treasure-- an interview about Series 3. I had forgotten this, so it's like I'm watching it again for the first time!
