Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy - Series 2 Behind the Scenes Documentary

I thought I had previously posted this but couldn't find it this morning. So I apologize if I have and just missed it. Anyway, it's the Lux Com 2 documentary filmed by Joe Lynn. I think my favorite part is Dondy Lion and how Noel stays in character (the same with Raymond Boombox). I admit, I have a fondness for "the making of" videos. I love seeing how shows are made and watching the actors as themselves! How fun!

Platinum Blond Stand Up!

Does it seem like he's just coming up with it as he goes along? He starts talking to the audience and he's off! I believe this was filmed about the same time as he had his little run-in with the police. (possibly the weekend after?) Now why would they be suspicious of anything this man does, especially with that hair and those clothes? Too adorable to be up to no good! Okay, I realize I'm prejudiced!

Smile!

Posting this just because I was really enjoying it on Tumblr. Everyone needs a smile!

More On The Tour

I'm cleaning out my "saved drafts" and found an early review of An Evening With Noel Fielding that I never posted. He recently posted on Twitter that due to a conflict in his schedule, his February shows are being rescheduled for the fall, which I know is disappointing for the people holding tickets. But it'll surely be worth the wait! Any way, read about one of the early shows here.

Merry Christmas!

Okay, I really wanted to post a "group" picture for Christmas day, but Noel as Pere Noel on Nevermind The Buzzcocks is just too perfect!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! I'm sharing this bit of brilliance from ohyeahthatpleasesme on Tumblr. She's absolutely genius and this little animation is one of my favorite things. So if you are on Tumblr and don't follow her, find her, you won't be sorry!

Christmas Party

Christmas with Never Mind The Buzzcocks. I can't even express my appreciation for this! Can we love this trio any more? I'm so glad Rod joined the cast. It's been fun!

More Ladies of Boosh

I think this might be from The Velvet Onion. A companion to the colored version I posted on the 15th with Rich and Noel, obviously.

Spirit Guide

This isn't actually a Christmas picture, but when I first clicked on it, before I knew what I was looking at, I thought, "Oh, Christmas blanket!", not just "blanket!"  So I think I can qualify it as a Holiday picture. Anyway, it's from Tom's Twitter on November 24, a "behind the tour" type of photo that he labeled My spirit guide for the week. I think it works.

I think this photo was part of the photo shoot from yesterday's Artful Dodger. I think both have been photoshopped, but they are both so beautifully done, I'm okay with it!

The Artful Dodger

Christmas with the Fieldings, as described in The Observer
I edited the picture to fit. I've seen this photo set elsewhere, I'm not sure what they were shot for, but the are marvelous!

Boosh Art

I normally don't put people's art here, but I thought this was rather clever. A little Christmas gift to the Booshlrs from Loose and Jazzy Fresh on Tumblr.

The Ladies of Boosh

I have no idea where this was taken, or what it was for. But, the Boosh in dresses. Instant hot-flash. Someone, hand me a fan!

Twelve Days of Boosh Christmas

So, I'm going to post Christmasy Boosh pictures for the next 12 days as we lead up to the big day. I'm starting with this one, not because it is Holiday themed in any way but because, in a way, it is a present from these two for us fans. Julian went to see An Evening With Noel Fielding at Brixton on the 9th. There was a flurry of activity, from comments Noel made during the show to  Noel's TripleJ interview after. And then this, that he simply labelled "Brothers" on Instagram and Twitter.  It's enough to bring tears to our eyes!

Playing Dress-Up

A little bit of a throw-back today. I've seen the pictures but I didn't know where they came from or their purpose. So here is the interview, dated 1 February, 2013. For some reason, I always thought they were older. But to be honest, I didn't "discover" The Mighty Boosh and all it entails until a month or so after this article, so I guess I have a good excuse!

Julian's New Project

So, Julian is working on a pilot for a show called Flowers. Since I'm short on time, I'm going to let you click the link and read about it yourself. If you don't recognize Olivia Colman, she was Sophie on Peeps. Or at least, that's what I know her from.

Tour Update

An Evening With Noel Fielding is going down under! Does that mean there is a scrap of hope that they will cross the ocean and come my way? We can only hope. Tour dates are listed on TripleJ's website. Listen here.

Kasabian - The Making of Re-Wired

Kasabian from a few years back, yes, but Noel pops up a couple of times (even as Vlad!) in the video so it fits in with my current obsessions. Plus, I really like the song. Maybe that makes it one of my current obsessions, too!

Yes, this is the kind of thing that happens when Alice Cooper is on Never Mind The Buzzcocks! Alice is quickly becoming my favorite old Goth Dude!

Belfast Telegraph Interview

A nice article from the Belfast Telegraph.co.uk. I'm not going to summarize it, just because quite a bit of it is similar to past interviews, but it's a nice read for us obsessed fans!

Classic!

This is just how we always picture Howard and Vince. Even though we never actually saw them "performing" on the show (other than the Crimp Off), we know this is it! But in actuality, this is the photo featured on an old interview with Julian about their time in the US to promote the DVDs and he talks abit about their writing style and what he sees for the future. Excepting the making of the film, which more and more I don't see happening, he's pretty spot on. X
