When I get interested in something, I tend to obsess. At present, my obsession is anything The Mighty Boosh related. Other things may slip in once in a while, but mainly you will find this site to be fairly single minded, focusing on one subject! I have a tendency to include Boosh stuff into everything I do these days, so instead of including them in my other Blogs, I thought I would deposit them here. This way, I can have my favorite videos, pictures, gifs, etc. all in one place!

Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy: TVO on Site
Luxury Comedy Series 1 interview with The Velvet Onion. Just 'cos I need a bit of Noel this morning.

Favorite Pictures
A little Julian love today, or maybe it's a little Dave Brown love. This photo, from series 1, Killeroo, of Howard was taken by Dave and can be found on his website, APE. He's got loads of his photos posted. They aren't all Boosh related, either. So go on, take a gander!

Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy - ALL THE SONGS
Since I'm doing everything Luxury Comedy this week, today I'm going with the music from Series one. Because music really is such a big part of the show.

Favorite Scenes
Series 1 episode Bollo. Because it's all about the hair! I love the way Noel looks at the camera in the last GIF and includes us in the story!

Today's Boosh Photo Challenge key word is "Banana". Do a Google search of Noel Fielding Bananas. You get a whole page of images! The most famous one, I imagine, is this scene from Series One, Charlie, where Vince asks Howard if the black bits in bananas are tarantula eggs. I can't eat a banana any more without wondering it, myself!

The Mighty Boosh Songs - Ape of Death
This is the first Might Boosh anything I ever saw. My husband showed it to me and without any context I just thought "uh hah, sure. whatever." Then a few days later he had me watch "Love Games", again with no context. 'Course, then we watched the first episode of Series one. And I was hooked! If he would have done that first.....

Favorite Scenes
We get our first look at The Hitcher in the Series One episode "Hitcher". Who doesn't love that creepy green bloke? This episode has so many brilliant lines, but I love the idea of giving a bear something to read because he's bored. And not just some light reading, but some more substantial.

Mighty Boosh - The Hitcher
l
"Trapped in a box by a Cockney nutjob..." Brilliant! This is definitely one of my favorite bits of music and the video is worthy of MTV! (or at least it's better than the majority of videos on MTV, well, that is if MTV still shows videos. Do they?)

Favorite Scenes
Vince reaches for stardom in the Series One episode "Electro" when he joins an Electro Punk Band. Naturally, things go wrong. I love this scene where he is apologizing to Howard, and then manipulating asking him to help him get out of the mess he created. If coffees are drugs, I must spend my life high!

Favorite Scenes
Another favorite scene, just because Vince is being such a cheeky brat! You can tell, he just can't help himself. Anything to wind Howard up. From Series 1, Jungle.

The Mighty Boosh Flash Back
Howard's love of Jazz-- we all know and adore it! So of course there has to be an episode about it! Electro (original air date-- 22/June/04) from Series 1 deals with his inner Jazz Demon. The Spirit of Jazz is an amazing bit of costuming, plus we get to see lots of Julian's skin!

Jazz Trance
This scene is so typical of Howard and Vince's relationship. Best friends but very little in common! They know each other so well, they know exactly which buttons to push to make the other upset or uncomfortable. Some relationships are based on endless bickering. That's just how some people relate-- bickering one moment, laughing about something the next. It seems to define their friendship.
