I've been a bit Noel heavy lately, so here's a shot of Julian to start our week. So often he seems serious, but don't you just suppose out of the public's eye he's totally hilarious? How much of Howard's persona is true to Julian? I can just imagine sitting with him, drinking wine (well, beer for me, not much of a wine drinker) and having deep meandering discussions. Wow, I think I just discovered my idea of a perfect Sunday afternoon!

I've never had any interest in attending a fashion show but this one looks like it would have been alot of fun, even if Noel hadn't been a participant. I just thank Joseph for including Purple Hair/Red Penis--I think we all can appreciate a nice ass on the catwalk!

Noel Fielding - Sexualised Ice Cream In Song Form

I am so trying to wait patiently for the Luxury Comedy DVD to be released. It was scheduled for March, but Noel Tweeted that it's been moved to May. If it's any later, I'll just wait and put it on my Christmas list! I just hope it's released in Region 1 format, not just Region 2. Fingers crossed!

Clowns Are People, Too

Noel participated in Fashion Week in London last night (February 15), walking for Bas Kosters, whose fashions he has worn on several other occasions lately. The theme of the show was "Clowns are People, Too" and is quite wild and wacky and colorful. Strangely, I would actually wear some of the pieces myself, just maybe not in the combinations they are presented in. Probably, that's wrong, not wearing them in the way the designer planned. I'm not sure. I'm also not a fashionista, so I hope I can be excused!

Vince reaches for stardom in the Series One episode "Electro" when he joins an Electro Punk Band. Naturally, things go wrong. I love this scene where he is apologizing to Howard, and then manipulating asking him to help him get out of the mess he created. If coffees are drugs, I must spend my life high!

Saw this picture pop up on several different sites this week with Festival Supreme mentioned. I love the fact that the coat Noel is wearing is one that makes an appearance quite often, and has for years. Either that, or he has several that resemble each other. Either way, it's almost a stand-alone character with a personality of it's own!

Mike is under-appreciated sometimes, I think. This scene is a great example, and possibly my favorite with Naboo. It would have been great if they could have done more of this kind of thing!

Noel and Rich live on stage wearing ponchos and sombreros. Sometimes I find Rich to be a bit too much, but other times I find him hilarious. As you can see, I'm very confused!

NME Video: The Mighty Boosh - Part One

The Mighty Boosh spent a week at the NME office, as guest editors (in 2007, I believe). I don't imagine there was much editing going on! The whole group was there. The Horrors were there. There was a photo shoot or two. Julian got his hair cut. They tied up the editor. And answered questions on the roof, in the wind. This is part one of two, be sure to watch the second video.

For some reason I'm thinking this is one of Dave Brown's pictures. Technically I think it's brilliant, the darkness of it offsetting their faces, especially Mike's, and the way it has a moody feel to it, the contrast between the white and black hats. That wouldn't have been as strong in a colored photo. Beautiful.

Can I even express how much I want a shirt like that? I used to have one that was red that I wore until it fell apart. But this one is a thing of beauty in the greens and purples.

The IT Crowd Manuel is a documentary about the making of The IT Crowd. This behind the scenes feature includes interviews with the actors and Graham Linehan. We all wish Richmond would have played a bigger role (only appearing in 7 episodes, afterall), but we're just glad he's there.

Secret Policeman's Ball

For your viewing pleasure! Sit back and watch one of my favorite Noel and Julian performances. Terrific bunny bummings, "Pies", sword fights--it has it all. Witty banter, deep, penetrating acting, great hats and mirror suits. What more can we ask for? I've watched it countless times, and I laugh every time. So, enjoy!
