So, Noel's doing a round of pre-tour publicity again, which means we'll have a whole slew of articles to read and peruse over the course of the next few weeks. I'll try to list them here. I'm not going to summarize because I image they'll all be familiar. Let's start with this one from NME!

Mindhorn

A short article at NME about Julian working with Simon Farnaby to write a new show called "Mindhorn". Okay, I'm going to get a little bitchy here, but there is one paragraph about the new show and then the rest of the article talks about The Mighty Boosh. Now, I never tire of reading about him and Noel together, but when the article is supposed to be about an individual project, I'm not sure why the last time he and Noel worked together comes into it.

I may very well have posted this video before but Noel and Julian together, even if it's just as they are going into an award show to find their seat (which is what I'm assuming) with Mike and Dave floating around behind them, intercut with Noel as Vlad, is always good for a re-do.

Noel Fielding's Soundtrack Of My Life

So The Tour starts today. How excited am I?! Sorry if you're tired of hearing about it, but I'll probably post every picture and video that shows up for the next two months. So, to start things off, here is a video of Noel talking with NME about music. It has nothing to do with the tour, at all, but he mentions Baker Street, which is one of my all-time favorite songs, even though I rarely admit it!

NME Video: The Mighty Boosh - Part One

The Mighty Boosh spent a week at the NME office, as guest editors (in 2007, I believe). I don't imagine there was much editing going on! The whole group was there. The Horrors were there. There was a photo shoot or two. Julian got his hair cut. They tied up the editor. And answered questions on the roof, in the wind. This is part one of two, be sure to watch the second video.

Well, we all know how much they deserve it! Part of Julianuary, a video without Noel where Julian gets to take the lead. The normal Boosh scenario where they just spout out stuff that doesn't make sense. Why do we love them, exactly?
