Something For 2016

Julian is constantly working, even if we don't hear about it very often. I'm sure I heard rumors about "Flowers" some time ago, but then nothing. And yet here this was in the British Comedy Guide this morning! This really does sound like something that Julian  and Olivia can really stand out in, so hopefully the material is something they can both really work with (and I trust neither would sign up for something that wasn't up to their quality).  It won't broadcast until next year, but I'll try to update as I hear anything new. 

All Work No Play: On Tour with Noel Fielding

Argh, I thought I had posted this already, but it's still in my "drafts" file. So I guess that means I didn't. I do believe the mind is slipping. Anyway, this is a video of Jo as he is arranging his show entitled "All Work , No Play" (photos he took as he chronicled the first leg of the "An Evening With Noel Fielding" tour) at Gallery Maison Bertaux with shots from the opening. Noel is there, giving his input. Give it a watch.  

Mindhorn

A picture from Samuel Stefan's Twitter in reference to filming Mindhorn. I donated to this project when there was a kickstarter, and therefore knew that Julian was involved, but I thought maybe as a writer or directer. Excited to see he's actually playing the part! I hope I get a chance to see the finished product.

Questionable Science

So there is this. The show airs on Comedy Channel and it's full Rich Fuller humor. Which I imagine means you either love it or hate it! I actually find it quite amusing-- but then I've been told I'm easily amused! Judge for yourself!

 When the [Mighty] Boosh started, we thought it would be funny if Vince [Noir, Fielding’s character] was really eccentric, the problem was after a while I didn’t know where Vince stopped and Noel began, I loved wearing glitter catsuits, although I’m not thin enough for that anymore.

Nathan Barley is 10 Years Old

So, I watched the pilot to Nathan Barley and then let it go for probably 6 months. Then finally watched it, and then 6 months later watched it again. And now my OTP is Dan and Jones. So yeah, I might really like it. But somehow I thought it was a few years older--that it pre-dated The Mighty Boosh TV show. Have I posted this before? I don't remember it, so hopefully not. Anyway, early Julian! Someone had posted this with a comment about how he likes horror films and he brings that into his humor. Things make more sense now!

He Knows He Has It Right When Their Hair Match!

Noel posted this on his Instagram. The eye gets drawn to him standing in the back ground, naturally. But what got me, for some reason, was how neatly everything is lined up on the dressing table. Not exactly sure why I'm surprised, but I guess I expected a jumble instead. I shouldn't be surprised-- he's probably a very meticulous person-- nothing like me with my stacks and mess!
