Mindhorn
A short article at NME about Julian working with Simon Farnaby to write a new show called "Mindhorn". Okay, I'm going to get a little bitchy here, but there is one paragraph about the new show and then the rest of the article talks about The Mighty Boosh. Now, I never tire of reading about him and Noel together, but when the article is supposed to be about an individual project, I'm not sure why the last time he and Noel worked together comes into it.

Favorite Pictures
Tumblr is flooded with pictures from yesterday. First there was a typical Noel selfie as he was coloring his hair (blondish roots were evident in another pic that popped up). Then there are tons of Noel and Lliana at the summer time festive at Hyde Park. Alison Mosshart and some other friends joined them. I forget how cool London is until I see them all wearing long sleeves in June. No wonder Noel loves his coats/jackets!

Self Portrait-- Pointy Old Witch
Noel talks about his face as he draws it on an iPad, about how it's frightening but intriguing and he can't disguise himself. The way he talks about himself, at times, there is self-contempt for the image he projected during his "party" days. He's very open, revealing maybe even more than he realizes. Noel in an interview for Coup de Main where he talks about imagination:
"...society is a collection of rules, isn't it? Time and money and jobs and order. It's all about order. So when someone comes in and starts doing stuff that's weird or whimsical or abstract, people really can't deal with it..."
