I'm sorry I can't credit this picture because I have no clue where it came from--I'm guessing it was a fan photo from Tuesday evening after the NMTB taping. Anyway the person that captioned it mentioned "Pip's coat". My husband saw the picture before I did and read it to me and then wondered aloud "who's Pip?". And without even thinking about it, I said "Pip Valentine." Yes, that jacket will always say Pip to those of us in the know!

All That Glitters

Today's key word in the Boosh Photo Challenge is Mirrorball, and this is the first mirror ball I know of--on the dash of the get-away car in Blue Song. I love this video and judging by the fanfiction that has grown from it, I'm not the only one. Really, if you haven't read Stockholm Syndrome (by Richard Rider), do so. Also, I found one on-line called Fast Fuse that I really enjoyed. I'll warn you, they are both NC-17, so don't read them if you prefer fluff or get offended easily!

Okay, I said I'm not going to make this whole month about Julian, even if it is Julianuary. Or maybe I will. Anyway, if I was one of those fangirls that is all into shipping, I would have loads to say about this picture. But since I'm not (I'm not---don't look at me like that!) I just enjoy the friendship this photo represents. (There is absolutely no thought in my mind about Stockholm Syndrome either. Just thought I would mention that.)

They Got The Funk

I'll probably do highlights from the weekend all week. I would apologize, but if you're a true Boosh fan I don't think you'll really mind! The Old Gregg episode was possibly one of the first episodes I watched and  Love Games was the first Boosh song I made an effort to learn. They have changed up the words, added lots more story to the song, which is brilliant. "They called off the search way back in June." Howard scats. And then they sing about Stockholm Syndrome. "Hey, Howard, what's it called when someone falls in love with the person that kidnaps them?" I love the books, so I love the fact that they have made it part of the song. Some of the Tumblr fangirls seemed surprised, maybe a bit embarrassed that they know about it. It doesn't mean they have read it (but don't you just bet they have--at least parts of it!?) Okay, this got a bit longer than I meant it to. But what can I say-- I love these guys! Brilliant video. Thanks,Shannon7291.
