Noel Fielding Reading Letter From Russell Brand TCT 08

The quality of the video isn't the best, but the sound is good. Noel reads a letter from Russel Brand during the Teenage Cancer Trust show of 2008. (They appeared together in 2007, which is another video for another day.) Russell isn't one of my obsessions, but I do find him quite interesting and intelligent. In the beginning, Noel is imitating Russell, rather convincingly, I think, but as the letter gets more amusing he loses it and goes back to his own, simply trying not to laugh. A bit of humor for the day!

Fashion Watch

What Noel wore when he appeared December 26 on Big Fat Quiz of the Year, 2013 with Richard Ayoade. I was very confused by this outfit, to be perfectly honestly. Especially when he combined it with the lips/chips overcoat during the British Comedy Awards. Then Noel mentioned Bas Kosters Studio on twitter. After exploring the site it made much more sense to me, and I understand a bit more why Noel is attracted to it. Check it out here. (I still think it looks a bit like a nightgown, but a cool nightgown!) And this coat rocks!

Julian Barratt Interview The Harry Hill Movie Premiere

I've seen the trailer for the movie and Julian isn't in it, so I figure that means his part in it is fairly small. But he did go for the premier event and we get an interview out of it, so that's good!

Aston Merrygold's Buzzcocks backflip - Never Mind the Buzzcock

It's no secret, I love Never Mind the Buzzcocks! I hate that I have to wait until it gets posted on YouTube before I get to see it, but that's the price for living in the U.S.A. All I can say is thank goodness for the internet! Sometimes Noel just isn't very coordinated! And Phill just always eggs it on.... Genius! The best thing on telly!

Video to enjoy on this cold (at least here) Saturday. It's no secret I'm a huge fan of Noel's art, so I eat up anything that shows his work. Love the color, love the abstractness of it. Watch for Julian and Dave!

Fashion Watch

Okay, I'm on the fence about this one. I'm usually amazed that he can throw anything together and look good, but this is maybe a bit too much. I actually like the (coat? mu-mu? housecoat?) whatever that is. I think it would be cute not zipped with black skinny jeans underneath, or maybe even plain leggings and a long shirt but it's too busy with the dress. Plus, the dress almost looks like a night gown I had once. Maybe he was planning on going straight home and hitting the sheets?  Oh, Noely, Noely. (but the hair is right on!)

Auto Boosh

Enjoy this little clip from Auto Boosh. This production ran in August of 2000 and by then The Mighty Boosh was getting popular and the shows sold out quickly. This particular clip features "Pies". I think it's the look on Noel's face that gets me, because I laugh every time!

I love this set of pictures. I really think they are about my very favorite--I can't even choose which I like better. I love the scruffyness of both of them. Black and white emphasizes the lines in their faces and captures something that color prints never can.
