The Mighty Boosh Band, Together Again!

So, The Mighty Boosh Band performed last night as the Soho Theater in London and will again tonight in preparation for Festival Supreme, which is in 20 days. There were several posts this morning on Tumblr about the show. I believe The Soho only seats about 150 people, so it's a pretty intimate venue and the audience gets a chance to interact with the people on stage. I knew Dave was going with be with them, but I wondered about Ollie. I don't know why I'm so excited to see him there (since I'll never get to see them live), but I am. Mike is supposed to be there for tonight's performance. I don't think Rich is joining them until LA, but I might be wrong. Anyway, I'm so happy to see them all together again! X

Never Mind the Buzzcocks S27E01

For your viewing pleasure today, the opening episode of Series 27 of Never Mind the Buzzcocks. I so love this show, I keep going back and watching old episodes. Simon Amstell was such a brat, but so funny. "Licking ball" and Phill twerking makes this episode classic!

Product Placement?

My Mom started me drinking Bailey's Irish Cream years ago (mmm, creamy!). After I moved out on my own, I would still go over every year and help her put up her Christmas tree and we would drink Bailey's while we decorated. So I got such a kick when I saw it on The Mighty Boosh. Except, now, instead of thinking about my Mom and Christmas when I drink it, I think of Old Gregg!

Gadget Man S02E04

The highlights of my week was catching Noel on various shows this week-- thank goodness for the people who post these on YouTube for us poor Americans! For your viewing pleasure, today I present Gadget Man, hosted by Richard Ayoade. Since the first time I watched The IT Crowd, I've been a fan. Love him in this show, even the episodes without Noel!

The Crack Fox

Julian as The Crack Fox in the season 3 episode The Strange Tale of the Crack Fox. Julian plays "creepy" so well! It really is the strangest episode of the entire series, in my opinion. The animation of the Crack Fox's story is stellar, though.

Tundra

Julian and Noel from a still from Series 1 Tundra. These scenes were filmed for the Boosh Pilot and then used in this episode. I think the pilot is brilliant, I almost (but just almost) prefer it to the episode that actually aired. Like I said, brilliant!

Hello Little Deer - Frank Zappa Tribute

Hello Little Deer is probably my favorite The Mighty Boosh song, ever. It's about kidnapping and rape. What can I say-- I have a bit of a twisted sense of humor! This version, performed live during Zappafest in 2011, is my favorite. It's so raw! Plus, there is the bonus of their version of  Zappa's Willie The Pimp. As they say on Tumblr, oh, the feels! I almost quit breathing at times through-out this video. I'd probably end up passing out if I ever saw it live!
