Eekk, I'm getting behind! So here's one from a few weeks ago from Oxford Mail:
“Julian is insane in a different way. What’s good about having two different types of personality is there is no cross-over. But as different as we appear in The Boosh, we think exactly alike. People used to come away quite frightened, thinking we had some weird extra sensory perception. We can communicate with one gesture or look."

BBC Radio interview where Noel talks about his connection with Cambridge, a bit about Serge and then of course they talk about An Evening With Noel Fielding. It's only a little over 7 minutes, so it's a quick listen.

"From the moment the comedy star tells me "I'm like Obelix in Asterix, you know how he fell into the magic cauldron? Well, I think I fell into the LSD cauldron when I was a baby," I know I was wrong to doubt him; Noel Fielding is as weird and wonderful off screen as he is on it, and charming to boot."

A nice interview from The Music.com-au, actually fresh with some stuff that we haven't heard on repeat over the last months. Noel talks about An Evening With Noel Fielding, about the give and take with the audience. And he talks about the internet age and selfies. And Robbin Williams. So, yes, some new stuff! Enjoy!

GT Magazine: talking about the tour, of course. The thing I found most interesting in this particular interview is when he talks about life during a tour, where every thing is done for him and all he really has to do is ride on the bus and do the show. Then when he goes home, it's an adjustment having to do for himself! I never thought about it, but I can see how it must be like that!

Raise your hand if every time you hear the name "Scunthorpe" you think of the major of said place on Never Mind The Buzzcocks (may it rest in peace. sigh). So, anyway, Noel and gang will be at The Baths Hall on Wednesday. Check it out here: Gainsborough Standard.

So Birdy has been featured this week in a series of videos with Sade Giliberti. This is the blurb that accompanies the video:
Featuring the very latest in music, arts & culture, [ ] THE BOX is a brand live magazine show for the Vice-generation. Streaming live from the Studio, the program will showcase interviews, demonstrations, reviews and live performances through YouTube's live streaming platform, aiming to reach out to Britain's restless twenty-somethings with the happenings around them. Developed, directed and produced by the National Film School's TV MA graduates, [ ] THE BOX promises to bring you the greatest and grittiest of UK's culture.
And just a note, since I'm a bit of a fan of each, Tom Hiddleston, Benedict Cumberbatch and Johnny Depp are all briefly interviewed!

So Noel has been doing the interview/promotion thing again and there are tons of articles and videos floating around and I've meant to post them daily, but time is such a factor these days. So I'm going to attempt to get caught up this week-- be ready for a series of articles that basically say the same things. But, when one is obsesses, one reads each and every one. That's just how it is! There is a handful that are done in this room with that sweater and that back-drop. In this one he compares doing music on stage to doing stand-up. I'll try to post some more of them, and hopefully not repeat any!

A short one, for the most part more of the same, except the interviewer asks Noel about America and Canada and he makes the comment that he's sure he has a cult following but not sure how big, that it might just be him in an empty room. So let's please show him a lot of love while he's on our continent! (so that he comes back and visits more than just LA and New York City!) The Bristol Post.

Another interview, this one from Time Out. So, nothing too original in this one. In fact, for a moment I thought I was reading an old interview. Anyway, including it because I can!

An article about how he met Primus. And there is some details about the writing we've been hearing rumors about that involves an American pilot and he talks about past experiences in North America, as well. So yeah, some stuff we haven't read before. Check it out at Teamrock.com.

A piece from The Velvet Onion, with a twist. This interview, instead of Noel recycling answers to similar questions, centers more on Mike and Tom. In fact, most of it is from Tom, and I find it very fresh and interesting. Take a peak!

I know, they just keep recycling old photos. Not that they aren't excellent old photos, I just really like it when there are new ones. Yeah know what I mean? Anyway, another interview/article for us to read. It's fairly typical-- the questions, the answers-- but there is a little twist at the end for us die-hard Boosh fans! Read it here

As well as his comedy his is equally well known for his vibrant personality, his make up and clothes. But he admits it wasn't always like this.
"Growing up I was a bit of a nerd playing football with white trainers in Croydon," he chuckles. "I was also a bit shy and loved drawing.
"I used to drink at the Ship in Croydon and go to the Whitgift Centre and hang out there. It was weird as there wasn't much to do. I went to the cinema a lot and the ice rink in Streatham."

A really nice interview from the The Herald: HeraldScotland. So many of the interviews lately seem to be colored with a wistfulness for what was. Or maybe it's just me. This one, although there might be a touch of that in the end, is funnier and looks at the absurdity that is Noel's life and art--which of course is why we love him.

So, Noel's doing a round of pre-tour publicity again, which means we'll have a whole slew of articles to read and peruse over the course of the next few weeks. I'll try to list them here. I'm not going to summarize because I image they'll all be familiar. Let's start with this one from NME!
